The farm Spreeuwenburg is situated in the lovely small village Waterland-Oudeman, Belgium, at 13 km of the seaside, near the Dutch border. From here you can visit the historical cities of Ghent, Antwerp and Brugge. We offer a cordial hospitality in a rural scenery on a real crop farm. Modern facilities, 3 rooms for up to 9 persons with shower, toilet, cable television, refrigerator and central heating. There's a wide choice on the breakfast menu.
The beautiful polders, with the Krekenroute, the Senteroute, the Grenslandroute and the Smokkelroute, are perfect for walks by foot or by bike. There's a big garden and terrace with seats. 4 bicycles are available for rent. A few well-known restaurants are in the neighborhood. We are located 15 kilometers from Philippine, a small little village just North of the Belgian border in the Netherlands. Philippine is the capital of the Mussel, where you can eat them as much as you can, while washing them down with Cuvee Philippine, a crisp Belgian triple. You really need to try mussels, and if you don't want to, try and eat a good old steak. No worry, that leaves more mussels for the others.
